Aquí algunas fotos que tome ayer en Plaza Cataluña por la celebración de Sant Jordi y el día del libro, dos días especiales en los que se juntó todo el mundo en el centro de la ciudad para reunirse, aprovechar el buen tiempo y encontrar muchos de sus libros favoritos en descuentos increíbles. Chuck Palahniuk entre otros estupendos escritores estuvieron firmando libros en el centro. En Cataluña se celebra regalando una rosa y un libro. Los novios compran rosas y las novias libros (o viceversa), parecía una especie de San Valentín pero eso ya lo verán en las otras fotos que les tengo preparadas!

Here are some pictures I took yesterday in Plaza Cataluña in Sant Jordi celebration and the Day of the Book; two special days that drew everyone to the city center, to get together, enjoy the fine weather and find their favorite books at really low prices. Chuck Palahniuk among other amazing writers were signing books in the center. In Cataluña, Sant Jordi is celebrated by giving a gift of a book and a rose. Guys buy roses and girls books (or viceversa), so it is a kind of Saint Valentine’s, but you will see that in the next bunch of pictures I have prepared.
